Thousands of heads queued up in the polling station just opposite to my flat under the scorching sun on the Aam Aadmi Day of India here in Hyderabad yesterday.Even though it was somewhat cloudy as compared to other days, still the heat was unbearable. It was good to see people coming to exercise their vote inspite of the terrible temperature escorted by scarfs, water bottles and fruit juices to battle the heat.India is indeed lucky it seems when it comes to elections after every five years, the only day of our show, the common man show(atleast to some extent!)
No matter how much the govt does its duty,it's a matter of pride that the commoners here exercise their duty to vote responsibly enough.Starting from the college goers who are the complete beginners of the show and come to vote very enthusiastically being the first time, to our respected senior citizens for whom this has become a regular periodical process of their lives, the zeal to play one's role as a responsible citizen of India remains all the same and never seems to fade. This signifies clearly enough....
Who says we have lost all hopes?Who says we are not optimistic?Or else who would have wasted one holiday by going to vote amidst the horrible heat rather than happily enjoying back at home with family and friends.Yes,we care....we care for ourselves and our family and people around that's why we never hesitate to do our part no matter what. What then goes wrong with our Well-Wishers?Well,that question I'm afraid is a million dollar question!!!!

We say things like 'aeyi desher kichu hobe na', yet we vote. We are definitely optimistic.
